The questions you should ask before handing over a CV.
Does Overture apply for jobs on my behalf?
No. There is no code path that can submit an application. Overture researches roles, companies, and contacts, and drafts outreach for you to edit and send. The application is always your action.
Will my current employer find out?
Overture never approaches them. Block your employer by name and they are never researched, never scored and never approached, and every send checks the list again. Your approaches go in your own name, only when you approve each one, and each first note asks the reader to keep your search discreet. What a reader does next is theirs, so choose who you approach with that in mind.
What happens to my CV and my interview?
Encrypted at rest and in transit. Held only while your account exists. You can export everything or delete your account at any time, and the data is erased in full.
Does a formula decide whether I am good enough?
No. Overture does not score you against other candidates or rank you on a leaderboard. It checks whether there is evidence for a pathway and whether that evidence can be cited. You see the reasoning behind every prediction, and you can overrule it.
What if my profile comes out wrong?
You correct it once and the correction holds everywhere. Every field is shown for you to confirm or correct, so errors surface where you can catch them. Nothing advances until you confirm the profile.
